Joe and Susan

Joe and Susan both joined Great Expectations through the Fort Worth center. She joined in 2003 and he in 2004. They were actually introduced by referral of a long time representative, Eva Hood, that thought they would be the perfect match for one another. They had both been members right around the one year mark and were looking for that someone special to spend time with and to make new experiences. They hit it off from the start and have since been inseparable. They stopped in this year to tell us that they were married on October 22, 2005 and had just celebrated their one year anniversary. They were married by the captain on a Mediterranean Cruise and honeymooned on an Artic Cruise. Together they have 17 grandchildren and love spending time with the family. Susan says, “we truly are soul mates, we finish each other sentences and our thoughts are the same”. Joe also says, “that he often reflects and marvels at the magic between Susan and himself”. Both attribute the staff at Great Expectations for guiding them towards meeting the right person and suggest that everyone get involved in the activities.

Brandy and David

Brandy and David became engaged on August 15th, 2006. They both joined through the Dallas center and had been members for only a few months. “We dated a couple of weeks then started spending time together on a daily basis and realized we couldn’t stand to be apart!” They have set the wedding for April 14th, 2007 and are still deciding on where to honeymoon. When asked what they would tell people who are skeptical about joining GE, Brandy’s response was “ I think it really is a great way to meet someone who shares the same interests as you and you don’t have to waste time dating and weeding out the bad ones. No one is perfect but with the profiles you can get as close to it is possible”. We are very happy for them and wish them the best!!
